วิธีการสร้างประโยคคำถามในภาษาอังกฤษ 3

การสร้างประโยคคำถามที่ต้องตอบอธิบายมีหลักการคล้ายๆกับการสร้างประโยคคำถามที่ต้องตอบใช่หรือไม่ ส่วนที่ต้องเพิ่มขึ้นมาคือการเลือกเติมคำถาม wh questions ลงไปที่หน้าสุดของประโยค เราไปดูหลักการทีละขั้นตอนได้เลยครับ

หลักการ

1. คำถามคืออะไรให้ใส่ wh questions นั้นนำหน้าประโยค เช่น "เรามีสอบที่ไหน" ตัวที่เป็นคำถามก็คือ "ที่ไหน" เพราะฉะนั้นใส่ Where นำหน้าประโยค

2. ในกรณีที่คำถามนั้นมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับคำๆอื่นด้วย เช่น หนังสือเล่มไหน ประเทศอะไร ปากกาของใคร กี่ครั้ง ให้เราใส่คำนามนั้นตามหลัง wh questions แต่ถ้าหากคำถามเป็นอิสระจากคำนามให้ข้ามข้อนี้ไป

ตัวอย่าง 

หนังสือเล่มไหน - which book
ประเทศอะไร - what country
ปากกาของใคร - whose pen
กี่ครั้ง - how many times ( how many = กี่, times = ครั้ง)

ข้อสังเกต - ในกรณีนี้ส่วนมากจะเกิดกับคำถาม what, which, whose, how many, และ how much

3. เติมประโยค"บอกเล่า"ที่เหลือลงไป โดยยังไม่ต้องสนใจว่าผิดหรือถูก

4. สำหรับประโยคที่เป็นการใช้คำกริยา(ที่ไม่ใช่คำกริยาช่วย)ตามหลังประธาน ให้ทำการเติม do, does, หรือ did ข้างหน้าประธาน แล้วหลังจากนั้นเปลี่ยน verb ให้เป็น base form ของมัน โดยใช้หลักการเดียวกันกับที่ได้อธิบายไว้ในตอนที่ 1

5. เติมเครื่องหมายคำถามท้ายประโยค เป็นอันว่าเสร็จ

ข้อสังเกต - ในข้อ 3, 4, และ 5 คือวิธีการเดียวกับการสร้างประโยคคำถามที่ต้องตอบใช่หรือไม่ ส่วนข้อ 1 และ 2 คือส่วนที่เพิ่มขึ้นมา

ประโยคที่ตัวคำถามเกี่ยวข้องกับคำนาม

หล่อนมีเงินอยู่เท่าไหร่

1. How much
2. How much money
3. How much money she has
4. How much money does she have
5. How much money does she have?

เขาอ่านหนังสือเล่มนั้นมากี่รอบแล้ว

1. How many
2. How many times
3. How many times he reads that book
4. How many times does he read that book
5. How many times does he read that book?

เมื่อวานพวกเขาอยากจะดูหนังเรื่องอะไร
